Borderlands is back and looks better than ever. We get a glimpse at the disposable guns, new characters, Gunzerker skill tree, a midget strapped to a shield … Yeah, you read that correctly. Midget… Shield… Strapped.

New environments are a fresh and much needed improvement to the series, no more will we be forced to stare at the bland, brown shaded desert areas of Pandora. Instead we’re given luscious green plains, snowy tundra’s and… Oh my, is that water?!

It looks like Gearbox has really stepped it up this time around, and I can definitely say if you’re a fan of the previous installment, this probably has you riled up and will be a day one purchase.

Borderlands 2 is due out some point after April 2012. Check back here in the future for an official release date.
