COD World at War PC MP Beta….it fails…why you say? I can’t play it, now not for the reasons you’re thinking, my Dell Inspiron came equipped to run Vista (which I recently downgraded from). I have a AMD 64 Athlon X2 4400+ which is better than the minimum requirement they have up for an AMD processor. I have 3GB of Ram and you’re telling me, I will continuously get errors on the first day of download this beta? Well punch me in the dick for Pete sakes and call me George because this is ridiculous.

What I expect out of a beta, is that when I download it…I can start playing it immediately after downloading. Not go through problems and have to wait a day or two to be convinced if I should possibly buy this game when it hits stores or say “FUCK YOU”. Thats just my opinion though, i’ll wait…but I aint gonna like it.

Mike Nolan

Coming straight off NFL.com, they’re reporting that Mike Nolan, Head Coach of the San Francisco 49ers has been fired as of Monday night. Mike Singletary is expected to replace him at that position. This just seems to be the trend this season in the NFL, a team has a bad start or isnt doing too well and X number of games in their coach gets the boot. 49ers are coming off their 5th loss this season by the hands of the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants (everyone seems to be calling them that until another team comes along and dethrones them) and now have a record of 2-5 leaving them 3rd in the NFC West. This is also their 4th straight loss, 4 seems to be the magic number when I coach is fired, this one is different. Everytime the 49ers have started 2-5, they haven’t finished on .500, I guess firing him now stops another losing season…or does it?

Hey, have you heard this one before? “Wrestling is fake!” So have you? Well if you’re a wrestling fan you’ve probably heard it about 20-30 times by now. It starts with you (the wrestling fan) walking down the street with some type of wrestling memorabilia on and ends with some random guy who’s probably down on his luck so to make himself feel better…he blurts out the following..”WRESTLING IS FAKE YOU FAG!”. So what do you do in this type of situation? Usually I would laugh and keep walking, but the usual die hard fan would defend it to the depths of nether realm.

Look, its okay to have an opinion on the sport that is Wrestling, but don’t come up to me..a 20 year old who, by now, has been told that wrestling is in fact staged..fake…whatever you want to call it. This is nothing new to me, the first person to tell me was…my own mother. Her story was, when I look back on it, pretty funny. Her Father (My Grandfather) took her to a wrestling match (as it was called back then, but now known as a house show) and was able to go backstage. During this period of her life my Grandfather worked the Capitol Grounds as a Policeman. So they go backstage and to her surprise..the very same guys who were in the ring beating the ever loving god out of each other…were laughing, having a good time, exchanging stories about the family. This crushed her and she started to cry, now, I didn’t go through this stage to find out. I would find out in what your say…the hard way.

It’s very normal by now that the Attitude Generation of wrestling fans know that wrestling isnt entirely real. Although the matches are predetermined, and most kicks and punches are very much telegraphed to look real, the wear and tear on the body is very real. We’re talking about guys who day in and day out get in the ring to entertain a wide amount of fans, young and old. So, the next time you’re about to blurt out that one phrase…just stop. Think about it. We already know. In terms of why people watch wrestling…well thats another blog for another time.

I believe it was about a week ago now since I gave an update that I would start reviewing some of the games I get this year. I’m still going to do that, but the games have changed…atleast for this month. I was going to try to get Fallout 3 and Fifa 09 this month..and I ended up changing my mind on Fallout 3 and getting NBA 2k9 instead. So the outlook will be NBA 2K9 (10/07/2008) and Fifa 09 (10/14/2008), and you can expect the reviews for both 3-4 days after their release date.

In other news, I have a boner…not really but I will be updating the Anime Video Of The Week Page Shortly after posting this and shortly after I find another Anime Vid on YouTube to put on that page, so look out for it. Thats all I got right now, hope you continue coming to the blog to read and watch my insanity lol.

OH! on a sidenote. I know this plugin I have to post a tweet when I post a new blog double posts, so i’m going to try and fix that before I go insane with masturbation…or maybe not.
