As a football fan, I feel obligated to chime in (late) on this Brett Farve situation that has been going on since Farve’s 2nd retirement. As much of a fan I am of Brett Farve, sometimes you have to know when to hold them, and when to fold them. For Farve, that time is now, when he first came back I was like “are you kidding me” until I saw what he did with the Jets. He had a hell of a season with them, and for that time period I accepted Farve as a main stayer in hopes that he retired and stayed retired at the end of the season. Its been longtime since the end of the season, Farve has once again retired, and yet, talks are going on about Farve coming back…AGAIN. What needs to happen for farve to stay permanently retired.
Don’t get me wrong, Brett Farve is a hell of a football player. There has to come a time where you just call it quits and enjoy a legacy you’ve built for over 17 years in the NFL. If I’m Brett right now, I worry about enjoying the cool breeze on the front porch of my house and watching the NFL live on without me in the picture. I’d make my little appearances once in a blue moon, even when I get inducted to the hall of fame. Thats all, but no, Farve has to milk this for all its worth. The first time he retired I was actually shocked, the tears came flowing from his eyes, it was a moment. But, now all of the mystery and shock are gone. There is nothing left to say about Farve retiring, so its time for it to stay that way. Just my Two Cents on the situation.
