EA Could Lose Billions If NCAA Players Get Their Way

EA Could Lose Billions If NCAA Players Get Their Way

Remember that one lawsuit from the NFL Legends against them for using their likeness in Madden games? It seems the college athletes of america are bonding together to get some cash from EA for their college football and basketball games. The lawsuit is over their likeness being used in college sports games like NCAA Football and NCAA Basketball and has been going on for over two years. To be honest, when you play these college games. You don’t actually see these guys in virtual form, so in reality the only “likeness” used would be the guy who’s on the cover and the schools and traditions involved. I also didn’t go to school for law, so no need to listen to me right? Anyways, there was a statement made by EA Corp. Comm VP, Jeff Brown who said the following: “We could lose billions more if a giant meteor hits the earth. We’re not planning for either outcome.” Which I guess is one way to look at it right?
