Square Enix has a New Browser Based Game Streaming Service
In an era where OnLive has been created so that people can play games on their PC without having to upgrade their PC’s, Square Enix has brought a similar service to the browser-based scene. It’s called Core Online and it only offers two of Square’s hit games, Hitman: Blood Money and Mini Ninja and it’s free with a catch. The catch is that this service is ad-supported, you will have to watch ads to increase the amount of playtime you’ll have on each game. So watching a 1 minute ad will net you 20 minutes of gameplay and each one of those type of ads you watch will stack on top of each other until you have 60 minutes of gameplay. Right now the recommended browser for this service is Google Chrome and beyond that all you need is a PC that has Windows XP or Later, a Pentium 4 1.5 GHz or faster and a DirectX 9.0 video card.
