Steam Launching Big Picture Mode Tonight
According to an article posted by Kotaku, Steams “Big Picture” mode is set to launch tonight! The mode brings a flower-shaped keyboard, a dashboard without ads and tons of improvements. Big Picture mode is built for people who want to expand gaming onto their big screen tv’s. With a new interface and as mentioned earlier, a flower-shaped keyboard that takes your face buttons and makes it easy to type out things (pictured below).
As you see, it takes the letters and clusters them together and while using the right analog stick to navigate between them, you can use your face buttons to select the letter you want to use. A pretty cool feature that is also suppose to make web browsing easy to use as well! Along with launching Big Picture mode, Valve will continue to look into a feature that will let multiple users log in to one PC at the sametime and play split screen on games. Watch the trailer above and prepare yourself for the possibility of more awesome things like this in the future!
